So to resolve the problem of voltage fluctuation we have automatic voltage stabilizer, L.T. voltage stabilizer before the load point installed.

- 1. In Low Tension-Automatic Voltage Regulators, there are helical coils mounted on a conventional laminated core
- 2. Carbon rollers goes along the length of the coil track & are assembled on a fiber glass carrier board
- 3. The rollers are connected to the electric output terminals
- 4. Parallel connection of compensating winding near the regulating coil is done
- 5. The connection between the windings and regulating coils is short circuited so as to reduce the effect of core-flux fringing
- 6. It keeps the reactance of the regulator constant at any position of the rolling contact
